How to Accept Jesus as Your Saviour

Do you have the peace of knowing where you will spend eternity?  Will you get to meet your child when you die?  There is only one way to heaven.  That is by accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Saviour.

You must be convicted by his Spirit that you are lost.  Realize that you are a sinner.

For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.  Romans 3:23

In your heart believe that Jesus is the Son of God, he was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died as a sacrifice for your sins, rose from the dead, and now lives.  Place your trust in Him alone to save your soul.

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved.  Acts 16:31

If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him form the dead, thou shalt be saved.  Romans 10:9

God loves you so much that he gave His own Son as a sacrifice so that you may have eternal life.  The story of salvation can be summarized in one verse.

For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.  John 3:16

If you are ready to accept Jesus as your Saviour, but are unsure what to say you may want to say the following prayer from your heart:

"Lord, I believe in your love for me.  I ask that you forgive me of all my sins.  Come into my heart and be the Lord of my life.  Make me white in your sight through the blood of Jesus Christ.  I know that you sent your Son to die as a sacrifice in my place.  I know that he rose from the grave and today he is alive.  Because he is alive, I am forgiven and can live eternally.  Thank you, Lord, for saving my soul.  I give my life to you.  In Jesus name I pray.  Amen."

If you have received Jesus Christ as your Savior, the angels in heaven are rejoicing.  Please share your decision with those around you.  Read your Bible and pray everyday.  Find a church that preaches the truth.

Please e-mail me and let me know that you have accepted Christ.
